Mission Trip @ Bukit Tinggi - Day 2

Hi, before I start with the activities for Day 2,
let me introduce to you - Rachel!
Hahaha, our name is very popular among the girls as it is a very beautiful name,
everybody wants to have our name LOLLLLL
Anyway, the other day I went to a wedding, the pastor bless the bride with Rachel's name as well saying that she is beautiful inside out. Awwww
I didn't know my name could mean so much LOL

Begin the day 2 with breakfast and then to clean up the chapel as it was filled with insects.

Then, we helped the speaker prepare activity for the kids

Sat with Junior Rachel as she show us some magic, and we try to figure out the trick
It's funny how tricks can be solved but forgotten after awhile.
I used to be able to solve this trick, however I am unable to figure out this time
Then I got really tired and took a little rest.
Joined the kids while they make Humpty Dumpty art and craft LOL

Taking pictures with some of the kids.
This 2 kids here talk behind my back thinking that I do not know chinese.
So i turned to them and say .. "Yes? What do you want me to do for you?" in mandarin, they wear like.. "Ahh? You can speak mandarin?"
Hahaha! Anyway, they were talking good things about me behind of my back... which made me feel like flying up high ahahahah.
They have also approach me many times during this camp asking more about myself as I ask about them.
Glad to make lil new friends :)
This is an angel. Hahaha.
She smiles really sweetly and really humble.
Though quite shy at times, but she's really sweet.
They are siblings. The girl is really pretty and shy.
But glad to win her heart XD
I loveeeee talking to shy lil girls as I feel an achievement when they finally get use to me and put their trust in me ;)
This is during treasure hunt.
During the free time
The kids took this out to play.. which is so fun!
Some of the can balance so well with it,
well, i can't. Aihs, so shy. LOL
At the end of the day before we left, we sign our name on the ball and gave it to the kids. HAHAHA
So glad being part of them during this holiday :)
I will regret a lot if i didn't bother joining this trip!
All praises and glory be unto God.

Mission Trip @ Bukit Tinggi - Day 1

Gotta say how awesome this trip have been!
Ee Laine was asking me to go, part of me felt half-hearted to go since I love 'holidays' and i feel that i should spend my holidays in bed.
But, after that I agreed to go, thinking that they need the support and the helping hand.

Never did I thought that, I would be enjoying myself so much!
It's like... I will surely regret if I did not bother going at all!
We have our breakfast early that morning, and left to Pahang using Karak Highway
Havn't been using Karak Highway for such a long time already since I havn't been going back Bentong ahaha
Once we reach there, we went around the school to explore and to plan treasure hunt.
Fall in love with the beautiful green wide field
Even though it was really hot, but I tell you it's nothing like like in Selangor.
The sun was not piercing at all!
We also went around the playgound to play, felt really like kids there,
saw so many student's work and made me miss Lick Hung a little.
Those were the days where we have to write the 'vocabulary' for a few rows
And canteen are in benches, and there's divider to ensure students line up.

Now,the wall at the balcony are so short that I swear if you push me, I'd fall down right away ahahha004
Gotta be a kid to teach a kid, in other words, bringing down the level and seeing things at their perspective.
I'm like one of the oldest there and I feel so young being with this bunch of young and energetic ones.
You'd be amaze of all the crazy ideas they can think of,
probably my brain is too rusty from all the plannings already ahahhaha
Yupppp, it's time to step down ;)002
After exploring the school, we went back to the chapel and wait for the time to past as we watch the kids do their activity.
I was worried about how we're suppose to teach the kids, they are super-hyper okay!
They don't play with iPads/iPhones like Subang kids, they play with EVERYTHING they can get their hands on!
After lunch, we start with ice-breakers and the 'teachers aka us' played along with them
Love it when my managing style suit them as well,
hahha, kids are kids.... though they are different, yet they are same.
Love those attentive ears... i think it is because they get to play after that ahahha006
Then our station games start! This is my station whereby they got to move the pingpong ball by blowing with their mouth.
Most of the games are taken from the many experience during my whole life serving in youth/church.
Glad to recycle these ideas and bring joy to the kids
After station games, the kids went and play at the playground while waiting for their parents.012
Love those smiles on their faces.010
We had a really long day, but an enjoyable one!
we didn't even get to bathe before the night's activities,
therefore we go in our smelly tees and all, get our dinner and start the night013
There isn't any activity that we should do at night actually,
but the organizer asked us to take over the night that is 3 hours long.
we filled it up with spontaneous games we can think of. ahahhaha

Day 2 will be up soon ;)

Adventure in Wonderland

* my ootd for that day - netted black top, pink skirt, beige brogues, beige bag *
i love dressing up too, but i'm not professional.
in fact, i love simplicity and i love mix-and-match :)

i'm suppose to be studying, but 10-15minutes to update blog won't kill. hahaha
Anyway, thanks to Jeremy, he invited Jun and I and few youths for dinner themed Adventure in Wonderland.
It was held at Sunway University's dining hall, and the whole hall was decorated with Alice in the Wonderland stuff.
*folded heart-shaped serviette*

I was having cough that night, the cough that will just strike your throat,
make it itchy, and you just have to keep coughing and cough out loud for it to cure.

Wasn't feeling very well that night, but, I enjoyed myself to the bits.
They served awesome buffet dinner,
my tummy was filled up in just a few minutes,
and the waitress are also dressed up - Mad Hatter, Alice, Queen of Hearts, the Hare and so on!
This is all of us!
Some of the decos.
The awesome Chef - Jeremy :)
The food served that night:
I really love the soup! :) Love those onions inside especially
Love these small lil finger picking food that fill your tummy in no time :)
The lil burgers are awesome too!
And the Aglio Olio is nom-licious!
Chicken is a lil too salty but no problem for me :)

The desserts are heaven!

Didn't get to try all the desserts though, but I can see all the smiling faces that shows their satisfaction when they eat it!

Check out for more pictures in Facebook :D
