One Sunday

One Sunday, I followed Carrinejiejie and Jun to go KL for Carrinejiejie's colleague's wedding.
After that, since we're at KL, we went and shop around KL.
It was such a happy day because Carrinejiejie and I both buy a lot of things to update our wardrobe.
After much shopping, we stopped by Coffee Beans for some ice blended to rest our legs.
And yes, we went on for more shops after that too.
I bought 3 clothes that day and Carrinejiejie had 5 clothes.
Happy happy day for both of us XD

This was my ootd that Sunday.
Wearing a yellow scarf together with white maxi.
 Yup, that's all. See ya!

Mix-and-match

I love to mix-and-match my clothes. I always love how the Youtubers or bloggers have just a piece of dress but wear them in 10 different ways. That way you'll never get sick of wearing your dress or clothing over and over again! ahaha.

There are a few Fashion Gurus and site that I follow that teach you how to mix-and-match your clothings.

I follow many many many fashion gurus, hair and make-up artist, sooooo many! ahaha!

Just to share with you one of the Youtuber that have the sense of style that I very much adore is Chriselle Lim.

She is very good in mix-matching her clothes. You can follow her and see that what I say is true.. unless you don't like her style hahaha. She's so chic!
She also have her own fashion blog here http://thechrisellefactor.com/
Follow her and be inspired! :)

I have also recently found a cool site with lots of DIYs, mix-and-match and many other things too!

Happy internet surfing :D

Dressing up

I think I am a girl that is no difference from other girls in terms of wanting to look my best and being vain at most times. However, I don't always dress up, I am lazy to think what I want to wear so I just grab anything, and sometimes I think I just look so sloppy for the work or events. Like, I'd go to work or church with my 2 eyebags and tired eyes, pale face and not do anything.

But the other day, as I was looking through some mix-and-match site, I came across this:

25 reasons to dress up everyday
from http://www.collegefashion.net/fashion-tips/25-reasons-why-you-should-dress-up-every-day/

Here are some points that made me ponder and reflect on myself.

* Because you’re only young once.
* Because you deserve to look your best at all times.
* Because you’ll never improve your sense of style if your default look is “I give up”.
* Because parties aren’t the only time to celebrate.
* Because it’s fun!
* Because dressing up helps you make fashion mistakes and get past them.
* Because it’s a test of your confidence. Dressing unconventionally forces you to develop the self-assurance necessary to stand out from everyone else.
* Because fashion is one of the rare instances where art comes alive.
* Because glamour isn’t only reserved for the rich and famous, even though maybe they’d like you to believe it is.
* Because nothing beats the rush you feel when you look in the mirror and LOVE what you see.
* Because you want to. That’s the only reason that matters.
There are lots of points here that I actually ponder on and kinda motivate me to dress up better in the future.

Tribute to Tun Dr. Lim Keng Yaik

Giving my tribute to Tun Dr. Lim Keng Yaik, really like to thank God for a person like him,
I'm not very sure what's his religion, but I'm glad that God has use different people to be a great leader.
I would like to appreciate his vision for affordable and quality education that enables myself and so many other Malaysians to be able to study in Wawasan Open University.
I thought I would be able to meet him one day during my graduation, but looks like it will never come.

Though I have never meet Tun Dr. Lim Keng Yaik in person, but I have seen him in pictures and I have read about him a lot. His death must be a pain to many since he have been a blessing to many people and people like me. But his work on earth during his life was not going to be wasted. I am sure WOU would be able to minister to many people who would want to further their studies but with financial difficulty :)

So here's a tribute for you!

He passed away last December, but I only get to read about the news.

You all can read about him here as well :)

1st practicals

Tadaaa! I am currently multitasking!
Studying, doing practicals and working as a teacher!
Not easy okayyy.. but God has guided me all the while,
and He gave me strength to finish the things I need to finish ;)

My lecturer already came and observe me for the 1st lesson and these are the results!
felt so happy, the students were really obedient that day as well, so not much scoldings were done during the lesson.

My practicals are still going on though,
so wish me the best alright?
ahahah... but I am rather confident.
God is my strength ;)
----------------------------------------

Side track a little and update on my outfit.
This was the outfit for Maundy Thursday.
Opt for all black since it was Maundy Thursday.
And, I would usually go for duller colours during Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
My mom would asked me to.
Probably it suit the occassion more ahhaha.
I bought this top and skirt online.
Well, the skirt fits really well.
But the top is rather loose so I got to add a belt.
Well, these are not bought recently by the way.
I stop online shopping for a few months already.
I am just wearing clothes that are bought and stored.
Well, i usually store clothes for special occasions.
but, trying to wear them off one by one now already since there's no point just keeping them there ahahha.
I am no longer allowed to shop online actually, coz out of 70% of the things I bought online are not fitting for my body :(
So, I can only buy from boutiques now...
Kinda lazy to do so... but it will be better for me, and the quality should be better as well ;)

Okay. just a photo of me to end the post.

Easter Party, Out with M&E, Facemask

*With Joanna and Laura*

24th March was Easter Party for the Sunday school kids.
As usual, there were games and prizes.. and storytelling.
But this year's storytelling are in the form of puppet show perform by Jun and Matt!
Really think that both of them did a great job!
Other than that, the kids did some crafts.
Using stickers to paste on the Easter Egg!
I would say that they are such creative kids!
I can't do better!
At night, Jun brought Maryann, Elizabeth and I for Papajohns!
There's buy one free one again!
So, for those of you who loves pizzas, go to their website and print it out!
Oh, please do let me add that if you have not try Papajohns yet, then you should!
Their crust and pepperoni are crunchy, they provide unlimited butter garlic cheese sauce and pizza sauce too!
And they are very generous with the pizza toppings too!
Papajohns is now my new favourite! and the next is Dominos. XD
Dominos is good because of the variety in flavours and cheap!
But i think Papajohns is more salivating :D

Elizabeth did the prayer for the food that night ;)

Maryann and Elizabeth
Jun and I
We were indirectly celebrating our 3years and 3 months too! :)
With the company of two crazy girls. ahahha
Us.
Now, you'll see why i call them crazy.
They can call this a ping pong bat! =.=
and they laugh for no reason and they laugh for everything as well!
ahahahha
The whole dinner was full of laughters, we were practically the loudest in the restaurant that night!

Then we went to Samsung to check out the phones.
Couldn't resist myself looking at the new and old models of Samsung.
I think I am an Android fan more than an Apple fan. hahaha
But i'd take an Apple product if it is given to me for free XD

And we actually went and try out the New Zealand Ice-Cream!
First time for me though and it taste awesome!!
We got the Ice-cream of the day for RM 3.
They have different flavors for the whole week.
Hope to taste all of it one day. ;)

And then we went shopping/ window shopping.
Taking picture in Uniqlo hahaha.
Love the mirrors in Uniqlo and the lightings are really good too!

After everything, went home and spend some time with Charmain
and we did face mask together XD
Sisterly moments. Love it!

And this is my outfit of the day!
This dress is more than 10 years old!
It was my older sister's dress.. she wore it during her teenage years.
I alter it by cutting the sleeve and tying a dead knot to make the sleeve shorter
and putting a ribbon around the waist..
and it fits so perfectly XD
I love clothes, old and new... no problem!
As long as it fits me.
Not very picky on the styles though... because simplicity & mix n match is my style. ahahahah
But....... but..... but..... i do go for bold prints or designs once awhile too XD
